Time to go shovel the driveway. Nice little snowfall today,making it festive to put up our Christmas tree and add more lights around the living room.

The medical professionals need to stand with Dr. Gupta against RFK Jr and his insanity. I stand with Dr. Gupta.
Whether it’s stating the basic truth on the President’s health, correcting RFK’s immoral nonsense on childhood vaccines, and holding their cast of “experts” to account, the time is now to stand up for the medical profession.

Starting to decorate for Christmas. I may not be home for Christmas, but want to feel the spirit of Christmas before my upcoming radical hysterectomy, which I might have to stay in the hospital while I heal.

Thanksgiving with my brother and his family was a success! No fighting, food was great, memories of mom were shared. I made mom's stuffing, which actually turned out really well. Mom was watching. 😇💙

My first attempt at mom's turkey stuffing without her supervision was a success. I think she was supervising from the other side. I sure miss my mom.

Today marks the first time that I'll be preparing the stuffing for our turkey on my own without mom supervising. I'm so sad, I miss her so much. Part of me just wants to sleep through the holidays.

I'm just hoping my insurance covers most of my hysterectomy-salpingo-oophorectomy, plus examination of the neighboring lymph nodes. Cancer sucks! I don't want to have to sell my home.

Biopsy results came early. I have a phone call with the doctor today. From what I comprehend, I don't have cervical cancer, which is good, however, I do have stage 1 endometrial cancer, which is normally treated by hysterectomy. Sad, but relived at the same time.

Starting to hang up Christmas lights today. Our poor hedge needs a major branchcut before its lights can be put on. Trying to make the best of the first holiday season without my mom. I really miss her.

Received my covid and flu vaccines, but for some reason, I couldn't get the pneumonia shot, even though I'm in the 50+demographic. Weird.
