Sweet. I was gonna watch some of the lesser/vintage stuff anyway. (mostly old Nickelodeon game shows)

Probably worth noting: This is all coming from me, a notoriously big Nickelodeon fan. I'm usually all about Nick Animation content, but I'll throw all of that aside until further notice or even forever in order to make a statement. (no matter how emotionally hard that might be)

Sure, WBD has rejected 2 or 3 bids of theirs already, supposedly due to undervaluation and strategic misalignment, but we can't just assume their review board will turn down the latest bid too. We need to let them know Paramount would be a terrible suitor, no matter how much Saudi money they offer.

The basic goal is to tank Paramount's numbers to the point that WBD doesn't see them as good suitors.

Unsub from Paramount+ if you haven't already.

Don't pay to see their movies. (Running Man bombing was a good start)

Don't watch their channels.

Starve them of money and viewership.

I already unsubbed from Paramount+. I later found out I can get it for free through Spectrum, but I might not even watch it through that, just in case.

Hell, hold irl protests in front of Paramount or Skydance HQ, if need be. Peaceful protests, obviously. (tho I'm not above getting a little dirty as an absolute last resort)

I want consumers and industry workers alike to be LOUD about it. Too loud for the billionaires to ignore.

Funny enough, one of WB's old properties already tackled the issue of a beloved studio getting sold. bsky.app/profile/tlrl...

Where can we find a good Mr. Hyde outfit...?
Anyone remember that ep of The New Scooby-Doo Movies where a famous studio was on the verge of being sold and the so-called "villain" of the day was just trying to stop that from happening (and actually succeeded)?

Crossed my mind for some reason...

Even if that promise IS kept, it's still a bad idea. Fox was kept a separate label from Disney and it still saw some terrible downsizing to the point where it's now JUST a label. The same would happen here to WB.
