Right, and above all, it's doable. There is no way I could finish the 3D game in a reasonable timeframe, and certainly not make it perfect.

True, I also love the 2D approach, no regrets. But visually, it kinda is a downgrade.

Thanks, currently working on balancing. The laser is pretty good against the small fighters but you may get into trouble against other ship and weapon types by using too many lasers.
