Yeah this is my favorite Gundam-related thing I've seen. Every single element lands; the story is paced exceptionally well, the animation is pure golden era of OVAs, the emotional backbone is incredibly strong, and the suits are the best lineup there is.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack
I was looking forward to seeing this one for awhile, and I will probably be thinking about it even longer. I didn't love it as a whole unfortunately as it has several severe structural issues, but it's a good capstone to Char and Amuro's stories.
