Same, but ours was a large and very intricate gold foil lace snowflake (gifted from someone in Europe) and it was so fragile that every year someone would take some time to bend parts of it to straighten it out - and still it was very imperfect but beautiful. Tree was not the same without it.

My sisters do a rutabaga dish (I think it has carrots?) every year and it's delicious, but have you ever had to cut a raw rutabaga? You need a serious cleaver and even so, I fear for the life of anyone who has to do it. Every year I'm afraid someone's going to lose a limb

I've probably re-watched this more than any other TV series. The me-too revelations about producer Joss Whedon (beginning of his downfall) cast some shade on it, but it would be dishonest to pretend I didn't like it or that I no longer think it's great. It remains a terrific series.

It's all the media coverage of negative incidents. Lately it seems to have moved beyond actual incidents to media coverage of people just saying that they feel unsafe.
