Le total de cas sur les 15 dernières années arrive tout juste à passer la barre des 1000 cas. Et il faut remonter à 2006 pour un décompte annuel au-delà de 1000 (n=1143). C'est toujours trop, mais ce ne sont pas "des milliers" 😊

"Specifically, proximity to coastal waters (within 50 km) was positively associated with life expectancy (β = 0.32, 95 % CI: 0.26 to 0.39), which suggests that people in census tracts close to coastal waters have a longer life expectancy than those who are not. In contrast, proximity to inland water bodies (≥20 km2) was negatively associated with life expectancy (β = −0.14, 95 % CI: −0.22 to −0.07). Additionally, the percentage of water area also has a negative relationship with life expectancy (β = −0.15, 95 % CI: −0.18 to −0.13). Besides blue space metrics, life expectancy is also associated with other factors. However, a higher percentage of the black population was associated with a shorter life expectancy (β = −0.48, 95 % CI: −0.49 to −0.47). Higher mean household income (β = 0.49, 95 % CI: 0.49 to 0.50) and a larger percentage of the population aged 65 and above (β = 0.45, 95 % CI: 0.41 to 0.48) were both positively associated with life expectancy."
