In all seriousness, I like to think of court wizards as the answer to "Why don't wizards just rule the world?" Ruling the world is a lot of work that doesn't actually help you get more powerful. Much better to find a king, tell them "Give me all the resources I want and I'll explode things for you."

So court wizards are just magicians with fancy titles?

2: Skip the first three paragraphs because they are background or irrelevant.

3: Scroll down far enough a pop-up asks for your email.

4: Google it to find a better source
