Dragon fan, furry, writer, TTRPG gamer (primarily Pathfinder 2E and Dungeons & Dragons 4E, but I dabble in many systems), and I review video games for fun.

I do information systems work and data analysis in real life.
Very cute! I love this creature.

She's a character from Bittersweet Candy Bowl. This looks to be an aged-up version of her.

That's a good shark!

She's very cute!

Online witch hunts are far, far worse than AI art will ever be, because witch hunting causes people actual harm.

What is the "injustice"?

There is no "injustice" in making or using AI art, or using it as a reference, or whatever else.

The only potential "injustice" is someone doing a commission for someone else, and claiming that art that was AI generated was hand-drawn. Otherwise, *who cares*?

People who pretend to be another artist to scam people out of money are just straight up criminals. I know someone who recently got scammed out of $800 because one of their clients got contacted by a scammer who sent them fake banking information.

I guess what I'm saying is... assuming the worst of other people online is a good recipe for making yourself miserable.
January 24, 2026 at 10:29 AM
I do agree that people scamming people with AI art while claiming it is real art is wrong, but those cases are usually much more obvious than this.

Most AI art scammers are not very subtle about it because they're people just trying to make a quick buck then cut and run.

The person you're accusing posts like four pieces a month to their social media account. AI artists generally spam art every day, usually multiple pieces. And the art they've posted seems to be personal art of their own characters. Even if it was AI art, who is being scammed?

Social media is a big part of getting enough eyes on your work as an artist like this.

This is why a lot of businesses will generally keep things very positive on their socials, because people are more likely to want to follow someone who is positive and is always posting nice things.
January 24, 2026 at 10:07 AM
You're way better off keeping friendly relations with other artists, than going around making accusations and witch hunting.

I've seen artists who went on AI art witchhunts who are now complaining about not getting enough business because no one links to them anymore.

You are always going to be much better off doing things to promote yourself rather than put other people down.

A lot of artists cross-promote. Being the guy who goes around accusing other people of being "AI artists" means no one wants to be associated with you.
January 24, 2026 at 10:04 AM
Banish all notions about other people "stealing your clients". As a small business like this, the number of clients you need is TINY compared to the pool of potential clients. If you aren't getting enough business, it is because you're not attracting enough interest in what YOU are doing.

They came out very cute! Thank you!

Maya is very happy in between her husband and wife there <3

Thank you for drawing them!

There isn't a complete lack of editorial adjustment. Did you even watch the video? There are changes. The collar is the most obvious; the sketch collar has a different placement and design.

Single thread is actually worse for hammering your CPU, not better. And God of War is a PS4 program; it runs on a NVIDIA GTX 960, a GPU from 2015.

I've seen a number of artists using Clip Studio have significant slowdown.

My high school had a "how to draw" book that suggested drawing like this. The lines are to make sure the limbs are straight, the balls on the ends of the limb are to block out the proper width. Here is a drawing tutorial from 2010 showing exactly this method

Seriously? You're accusing this guy of using an AI art model *based on his own art*? Beyond the question of "Why would they bother?" there's also the fact that it is his own damn art, AND there are time lapse videos of them drawing things in the same style.
January 24, 2026 at 12:25 AM
There is adjusting in the video. This is most obvious with the collar, which changes significantly in positioning and design between the sketch and the finished piece.

Did you even watch the video?

Also, uh... most people don't obsessively go to CivitAI. Why would they? And most people don't care.

Very cute! The expression/pose is a lot of fun, and she is quite cute.

This is amazing! Very pretty! I love their design!
