For context, this was the one #Bowie album missing from my collection, and I have a friend to thank for tracking it down in a second-hand CD market in Tokyo 🤯🤩🥹 I probably wouldn’t have reacted to it so warmly if I’d heard it when it first came out, but in the context of his later work, invaluable😊

Will be my first time back at @vbcscitraining.bsky.social in a number of years; looking forward to catching up with old friends, making new ones, and sharing the magic of #MedComms 🤩

Sounds really interesting…a good companion piece to “It couldn’t happen here”, from the gist of it. Thanks for the recommendation!

It’s equally not yet there for the work I do nowadays when we’re handling lots of confidential patient data. But efficiency gains are always to be welcomed, and I find the principle of nontoxic “peer” review appealing. Been on the receiving end of nastiness too many times already. 😒

Yeah, this is the flip side of the coin, isn’t it? And we have to be alert to unintended negative consequences from arising from the best intentions. At the same time, this is the way things are heading and it feels more proactive to lean into it than try and batten down the hatches.

What an amazing initiative! Would this be compatible with confidential (patient) data from industry-funded medical research? Or is it intended exclusively for academic research?
