More approachable explanation of Phainon’s situation, and sequences/projections/lifetimes

#HonkaiStarRail #hsr #Phainon #Amphoreus

Version more consistent with the terms used in the Scepter files, as well as what is shown in 3.7 (that *core::Entity clarifies so many things it's not even funny)

A really terrifying thought: Phainon's "state collapse" is inevitable, no matter the causal order, because there's always been one single Phainon looping

Basically, it doesn't matter *how* it happens, we see this in ER1 and 335: it can happen with dawnmaker, it can happen with the "Reaver" state-

It's interesting how the Heirs are both so human YET also so alien in the way they're able to handle the causality and memories of the 33M lifetimes they've lived

HSR does have a lot of interesting beings whose minds or consciousnesses just don't work the same way a regular human's does

Amphoreus and the various "distortions" the Heirs go through on a data level, feat. Phainon's experience with HSR's version of Quantum computing

There we go, I wanted to go further into details about what not only Phainon goes through on the data side, but also what some of the others Heirs do

I feel like Phainon at the end of Amphoreus would be comforted by that "Despite 33M cycles, it's still you" moment

Despite all that happened during those billions of years, despite never truly taking a break ever since cycle 0, constantly *literally* looping onto himself

It's still him

THREAD: Phainon's data loop and quantum computing

I remembered that what Phainon provokes and goes through at the end of every cycle actually has a name in quantum computing, it's a kind of specific "state collapse"

I didn't pay attention the first time, but the core selves, consciousnesses or existences of the Heirs seem to revolve around tose *.core::Entity files

Computer science is so interesting when you look at Amphoreus and the way Phainon is "processed" through the whole thing

He suffers so much, but it's really damn fascinating 🥲

It's interesting that dead Heirs are still listed as "active" in scepter.exe

It's likely because they're still actually active in the system, but are not "running" in the present extrapolation anymore, so it's probably like a "nap" of sorts

Cyrene closing off the causality in a stable time loop does answer a few questions

Like why Ruler!Mydei knew about the Reaver, or why Phainon's own causal time loop between lifetimes is allowed to happen and gets anchored in the first place

You'd think those would be paradoxes at first

I can't believe this needs to be said, but "Death of the author" doesn't mean you can outright ignore a settings' rules or the way they work, especially if they are fully explained to you. It even goes against what the concept is meant to be

This thingie stays my most efficient work to showcase what's happening to Phainon's consciousness during the whole Eternal Recurrence 😭
