Not yet, mine I bought about 3.5 years ago and it still seems to work pretty well. I keep a towel underneath JUST in case lol. Also I use 2 wicks at a time on it to get the full output. Think I remember Vornado suggests just putting 1 wick at a time. I like it, though.

I do try to empty tanks 100% before refill, though. So I'd recommend that to prevent a lot of water staying in the tray between refills.

Just started doing a little vinegar each tank refill, but too soon to say if that helps a lot. I'm also cleaning every couple weeks & keeping an eye on it otherwise to prevent ick. Hit or miss though, like maybe up to air quality. Is it near open window, door to outside, etc. Not sure.
