Food is a basic necessity. Denial of food is a crime against humanity to the highest degree. If these funds are not released, then we are no better than any 3rd world country that pirates food and resources, leaving its citizens in squalor.

Most excellent, a speechwriter directing the nation's health! Soon, we will have plumbers doing cardiovascular surgery, electricians performing neurosurgery. Who needs education, internships, and licensure? Public health is not a joke. Every life is impacted when unqualified people direct.

Not long ago, child mortality was a huge problem. Children routinely died by the age of 5. Few families escaped the grief of a child's death. Our knowledge of germ theory, microorganisms, antibiotics,and vaccination has given most children life into old age. Why do we want to deny children life?

I couldn't agree more. Sat am cartoons were the best, a cultural experience all kids shared. Everyone watched the same thing. Everyone wanted the toys. Toys that could handle robust play, not the pocket size pieces today. The breakdown of that childhood bond has had a lasting impact

The problem is when vaccines are not mandated,insurance companies will work to remove their obligation to pay. It's possible the Florida Dept of Public Health will pay for vaccines, but given vaccines are not mandated that lessens the financial obligation

Doubtful the CDC will be anything more than a puppet agency if it continues to exist at all. Science declares truth that is inconvenient for those who want to make money and gain power. Destroying our planet is a justifiable action to maintain their status.

Then it is time for the UN to find a new home. The US no longer promotes the mission of the UN. It is shameful to admit that we are not role models for human rights and dignity. Less than eighty years is all it took to go from the greatest generation/nation to being strangled by a dictator.

The White House wants to remake society in the image of its leaders. Those who seek to grow through knowledge, philosophy, theology, culture, diversity, and compassion need not apply. We slowly lose our humanity when we strip our fellow man of his dignity and human rights. Welcome to the dark age.

Hmm, stops crime? You mean him, the convicted criminal? Guilty of fraud? Changes rules to suit his agenda? Threatens those who don't support his agenda? Crime comes in many forms. Using force to stop crime is a dictatorship. The only true end to crime is solving the underlying causes.

Every year, I watch the covid rates go up after school vacations, and I wonder what long-term impact multiple COVID infections have on their bodies, aside from the risk of long covid. Attempting a reasonable dialog to reduce the spread of COVID is akin to head banging. Simple steps could change all.

If by some miracle, these children survive starvation, the damage to the brain, physical growth, and developmental impact can never be fully undone. These children will suffer lifelong poverty and abuse because the world chooses to look away. Their abandonment is our shame

Now is the time for the remaining governors to step up and support California because if it does not stop in California, then it is only a matter of time until your state is next. After all, doge failed, tariffs are causing havoc, economy sucks, war still goes on, but hey don't look there.

Who really cares what Elon Musk thinks? He obliterated government departments with no data or plan. Just poof, your job is gone. His slasing never reached the savings he predicted. So what's left? People with no jobs, a lousy economy, and thousands starving. Don't try to play both sides of the coin.

Qualifications are essential. You wouldn't have a car mechanic perform heart surgery, so why should a non qualified person be making decisions on Healthcare. Perhaps Congress needs to vote in job descriptions to prevent this travesty in the future. Qualifications and experience are critical.

Children are children- no matter their race, religion, or ethnicity. They are born with innocence, joy, and without bias or prejudice. The fact that we ignore children being killed in war, as well as through starvation, is reprehensible. What will it take to make it stop?

His narcissism is appalling, but those who bow to him are aggrieous. How do we continue- the 51 state, taking over Greenland, denying due process, even making himself Pope. Tanking 401k, destroying healthcare, DEI. Zero moral code, zero ability for societal survival.

The neuro system tunes out unnecessary info. You don't pay attention to lights , rattling papers, tapping feet, and a million other background noises. Their neuro systems,however, say all that info is necessary. They have to weed through that info WHILE staying engaged with activity. Exhausting.

Major media is absent. There is no true journalism. No one reports the news in the context of the law, random slashing of federal jobs to save money but no accounting of money saved let alone the true cost to human lives with cuts in CDC, NIH, NOAA. What will we innovate when science is gone?

The US Court wants an update. The only power it has to get that information/return is to put the Secretary of State in contempt of court and jail him until the man is returned to the US. Asking nicely for updates is a waste of time. If the justice system fails, then so does our freedom.

There is a reason why the world says, "Americans have the most expensive urine." We love our vitamins - our bodies don't. We don't stockpile vitamins to prep for some future event. What we don't need goes out in the urine. So eating a healthy diet renders most vitamin supplements useless.

Couldn't agree more. Parents were prosecuted when they opted to take their kids for laedrile treatment in Mexico rather than follow the US recommended chemotherapy.
