bought the logitech muse 6DoF pen for drawing on apple vision pro. have only been able to get it working 2D in sketch pro and 3D in doppl. takeaways: ok precision, but latency a real drag. don’t like how pen lacks digital representation / gets occluded by content. buttons nearly imperceptible. pass.

honored to have had interactive data visualization work done with ex-colleagues at IBM featured in this book from MIT Press. It’s hard to believe Watson News Explorer is nearly ten years old now. It was a news aggregator/ entity connector from the pre-fake news era.

listening to this made me think that documentary films recording events in the physical world (true to form) will be the only style of cinema not disrupted by gen ai video. immersive content through VR will further differentiate/augment their experiential value.
