Phew, for a second there I thought the Democratic establishment badly miscalculated by steadfastly supporting an immoral war that killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians, and then by scolding young voters for caring about those civilians, but it’s good to know it was everyone else’s fault

Obv I don’t want Americans to die in foreign wars which is yet another reason our pointless invasion of Afghanistan was a mistake. And cmon, Afghanistan was never going to do anything but supply the raw material for liberal capitalism in other places. You think Cheney was feeling altruistic?

Btwn 50,000 & 200,000 innocent Afghans were killed. We were there 20 years without improving the country one bit. It went right back to the Taliban once we left. Massive mistake.
