Make lying wrong again
Of all people these MAGAs should understand pride. I mean, it’s how they get millions of voters to stand behind Trump as he screws them over six ways till Sunday

That’s gotta be his motive, right? Someone he cared about who fought alongside our troops got handed over to the Taliban?

Just cap access fees at $10/mo and move the rest of the cost to the sending side. Let’s see how eager social media companies are to keep us glued to the screen when it’s on their dime.

For an administration run by a lifelong media fanatic and stocked with Fox News alums, it’s jarring to see Hegseth, Bessent, and Hasset in front of the camera every day.

Or he will invade Venezuela so he feels equal with Xi and Putin.

That will be fun for house of cards stock market built on NVIDEA, which gets all its chips from Taiwan. Or, maybe it rescues them, by boosting the value of their existing inventory, as the bottom drops out of AI demand.

Who is more annoying, Johnson, Bessent, or Hasset?

NG is great, always welcome in my neighborhood, as I have experienced twice in the past 5 years. Passive deterrence that frees up police for law enforcement, and reduces likelihood of violence. But expensive and really not called for in this case.

A lesson in supply side economics: wealthy investors buy up all our electricity to create a supply of something nobody wants.

Why would you limit to developing countries? Wouldn’t a digital dollar streamline all cross border payments? I think US Treasury should issue directly, but in meantime these private issuers can provide infrastructure for new business practices.

The point of the GENIUS act is to fix this situation by requiring 1:1 backing with dollar equivalent short term assets and regular audits. Tether is in fact banned in the EU which has already implemented similar regulations. However, US Treasury should just issue directly and cut out middlemen.

Furthermore, the also-rans in the GOP field might have teamed up for cabinet positions, rather than tearing each other down. As I recall, they focused on attacking each other rather than Trump.
November 26, 2025 at 8:07 AM
Who would Trump have shown up with in 2015? Michael Cohen as AG? Jared Kushner SoS? Weisselberg at Treasury? Nobody thought he could win. Outside of Apprentice dupes, everyone knew he was a conman. Who would waste their reputation on that?

Devious.

Parties should require potential nominees to present their cabinet before the primaries. Let voters vote on a team, not a personality. Encourage coalition building, not infighting. Get endorsements that mean something. Screen out charlatans like Trump.
November 26, 2025 at 4:50 AM
We may not be far from the point where Republicans start asking Trump people to stay away.
November 26, 2025 at 4:44 AM
Not sure that’s a given or whether there would have even been a 9/11. Clinton admin was pursuing Al Qaida as a serious threat. Bush/Cheney/Rice ignored warnings, likely wanted pretext for war. Got more than they bargained for.
November 26, 2025 at 4:39 AM
Tora Bora dubious as well. The Taliban offered to turn Bin Laden over, both before and after 9/11. They were fighting a civil war for control of Afghanistan with zero interest in global jihad. But we wanted war. Should have been treated as a law enforcement matter.

All that fiber left behind by the dot com bubble is what enabled the toxic social media business models that plague us today. Absent that dirt cheap distribution, content providers would have had to focus on existing demand rather than invent new addictions to consume the excess supply.

Reagan into Grenada, Bush into Panama & Iraq, Bush 2 into Afghanistan & Iraq, he just needs to scratch that itch.

She can’t wait to park her wearable blanket back on the couch

This makes sense except there are indications that Trump gives very few direct orders. He leads by suggestion. His most effective capos know how his brain works and how to feather their own nest within those parameters.
