1/Disabled folks are one of the last groups in the US to not have marriage equality.
If I was to get married, despite still having a congenital heart condition and all the costs that entails, I'd be in danger of losing access to Medicare and disability insurance because of how income is calculated.

This sucks, especially given that Waterloo has a relatively large Black population compared to the rest of Iowa.

Maybe the Iowa Department of Administrative Services, or the state in general, shouldn't get to decide what religions are allowed at the Capitol?

When I was transferring out of Nashville on Saturday there was a lady sitting on a blanket on the floor near one of the vending machines changing the diaper on a doll.

Councilman Coleman last year claimed the ordinance wasn't about criminalizing homelessness.
Now he is claiming that law enforcement is facing potential legal liabilities.
This whole process has been deceptive and very little of it has been thought out.
