i need to try the distilled alcohol that gets made from it, although i suspect it's pretty harsh. i tried a jar of honey with that as the listed origin, very rubbery and medicinal

my favorite urban tree maybe? agreed the fruit is a big pain. mango-y at best but impossible to not contaminate the fruit with gritty husk material. it draws so much wildlife though! i just ordered some seeds to try and grow some.

this could help explain why I've never been too fussed on them. I've tried a few urban trees in Vancouver with meh results. Sorry to be a bit of wet blanket in the unusual fruit thread. a topic dear to my heart

they're a somewhat common urban tree, yeah. lots for free if you want. i would say I'm open to enjoying them but yet to have an amazing experience
