Tbh I bet they expected it and are ready for the fight. It's not right, but I appreciate them standing up and speaking out. In the end, I truly believe they will win.

Intimidation tactics. The DOJ will lose in embarrassing fashion again.

Lmao Hegseth is such a clown.
November 25, 2025 at 2:16 PM
The crazy thing is that Republicans in congress were apparently mad that it extended ACA subsidies *too much* even as it reduced them.
November 25, 2025 at 2:14 PM
A little clarity here: everybody is paying more every year always, because the system is fundamentally broken. But yes, without the tax credit, it will absolutely skyrocket.

Trump is probably too old to ever see the inside of a prison cell for all his criminal acts.

Stephen Miller is not.
November 24, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Alternate headline: fascist regime threatening political opponents with prison to discourage dissent.
November 24, 2025 at 8:03 PM
I know I might get dragged for this, but... Grande looks... alien in that pic.
November 24, 2025 at 7:57 PM
On social media too! Because that's how we do official acts now. By tweet.
November 24, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Good thing there is no such thing as "Department of War"
November 24, 2025 at 7:51 PM
You know what would help more? Not being crammed together like sardines.
November 24, 2025 at 12:31 AM
You know who else committed crimes of serious proportion? The president with his 34 felony convictions and numerous sex abuse convictions and settlements.

This country once committed to and succeeded in putting a man on the moon in under a decade. Now we have a quack HHS secretary not only actively committed to making us less healthy, but is also a megaperv. And one entire political party supports him.
November 23, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Completely agree with that. Massive reform (break up?) of DHS would go a long way. The idea of better communication between agencies absolutely did not require the mess we got. The only reason they did it this way was to sell government contracts and implement hobby horse info gathering operations.
November 23, 2025 at 5:01 PM
INS already did all that. I worked at an immigration law firm at the time and we were all very happy CIS would be better off and it did help with settling status with CIS without enforcement screwing people. Unfortunately ICE never got better and now is absolutely dystopic.

That they think there is bigger money in what she's doing than the perpetual right wing podcast grift is hilarious.
November 23, 2025 at 1:57 AM
At the time, it made sense because the dual mandate of the INS led to a ton of problems and it seemed a reasonable step. The problem with ICE wasn't forming it, it was how it was turned into a terror agency. I don't know the answer, but the issue didn't start then, it's existed for MUCH longer.
November 23, 2025 at 1:54 AM
At this point, the agency is so deeply awful and corrupt, I'm 100% for that, but how do we model immigration enforcement in the future? Previous to ICE, the INS wasn't much better (although not nearly as well funded). And we don't want to rehire these fascists for anything else.

He's pulled a lot of numbers out of his ass, but this is the most ass pullingest one yet. We are closer to his impossible dream of living on Mars than we are to "uploading" a brain.
November 21, 2025 at 5:32 PM
And if I somehow saw the ending to this, I'd swear up and down I have no idea what happened!
November 21, 2025 at 4:21 AM
OK, now do the president.
November 21, 2025 at 4:14 AM
So what was Jan 6 then
November 20, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Nobody elected Stephen Miller, he can crawl back under that rock he came out of.
