What the what. I mean logically there'd be an ASCII/ANSI BBS scene still out there... most likely somewhat scattered... but I haven't even thought about that kind of art in 30 years. :O

OK but... I mean you could generate cards for continuous free AOL... and visit all the BBSs within a few town's non-long-distance range (thanks, Joliet!), and run your own BBS after your parents go to sleep.

Not yet known if those little duders were "baseball cards" or "pogs," but provable unique rarity is rare indeed.

Something similar will come, with perhaps a blockchain immutable and public backend for ease of audit and historical analysis under wide-pattern lens of ML. Elon's a twit, but I wouldn't be surprised if starting from the bottom on some of it will be a long-term gain, cruelly and poorly executed.

I think my eyebrows physically left my head when I saw the interview clip of him saying "his son had been killed by the woke mind virus."
In my mind I'd already dismissed anyone who even used the term "woke" other than in a classical manner... but here was Musk going full-on Leeroy Jenkins into it.
