I took these yesterday. It looks like the original structure is being retained and then expanded. The new development is called The Terrace.

The sign board almost certainly dates from the 1960s. Sterling cigarettes were heavily promoted by Benson and Hedges at the time, as this 1966 magazine ad shows.
This was a time when manufacturers created brand loyalty through tokens inside the boxes. These could be traded for gifts.
