Urgh. I forgot how utterly bleak and harrowing the season finale of Doctor Who series 10 was. Inescapable post industrial dystopia. I rarely watch it because it messes me up, but the music just brought it screaming back. 😭😭

This emoji has never been more apt - 😩 “post-coital”, “hostage”, and “shrimp cocktail” should not be allowed to coexist in the same paragraph. A horror shared is a horror doubled, as they (should) say. Thanks for that!

I sense molasses and liquorice, my friend thinks it’s floral. Let me know your take on it. I suspect it’s somewhat chimeric depending on one’s unique brand of anosmia.

Crotch! 😆 That's an apt description. I notice that it only really goes that crotch/farm direction in the mid dry down onward - perhaps I need to add something that lasts into that zone, to cover up the funk a bit more? I shall experiment with the basic amber trio + extra base notes.

Wee Willie Winkie would be appalled by us! It used to be the case that I could get things done in the small hours, but these days (nights) I’m more of a walking dead-esque creature. I just growl & grumble incomprehensibly and shuffle about in the shadows. 🧟♂️

It just seems so innocuous and instantly pleasant in concentration, particularly when you compare it to the likes of the aldehydes.

Having checked the super helpful forums on @basenotes.com it looks like I have definitely overdosed it in a number of formulas. Also, others think it’s a bit “poopy”. So, a little from column A and a little from column B.

Yeah. I wondered about that. I too have gone right off it. Though the store I got the Cistus from is known for being particularly selective with his sources - so maybe I just don’t like it. 🤷🏻♂️
