Mum and Dad are here for half term - it's lovely having them around, even if they're getting through my teabags at an alarming rate.
Oh, and I am loving how excited A9 is to be going out trick or treating later (it'll be her first time).

At Brownies this evening, my daughter decorated this horror - "Mustard Donut" she called it. She's been enjoying "Donut Squad" by @neillcameron.bsky.social and the influence seems obvious to me.

...my daughter who knows I've been struggling with tiredness and sleep made me a cute little lavender cushion to go under my pillow to help me sleep. Now, every night I get to feel/hold a reminder of how much this fabulous human being loves me.

Five years or so ago, my daughter brought this home from school. A couple of days later EVH died. We think it's a fitting tribute.
