I struggle with the “leave it alone” thing, but I had to let it go with the goading of my father in law. He thought it was funny to insult Hillary Clinton or Harris. I found it tedious. I do not believe that any black men choose to hang themselves from a tree limb; ever. Not many in the US do, of any race. Hanging suicides are almost always solitary, hidden moments, designed to not be seen to prevent an intervention. All of this is understood by most psychologist/forensic folks.

I think that we are talking about reproducing something more that bread and cheese. A toasted cheese bread is an easy go-to for many of us (a great quick breakfast), but I like the connection to the literature personally.
