The business doesn't fail because it wasnt really a business it was just more of a commission. I dunno, there is a lot of nuance I'm not clued into but damnit I'm so tired of everything being made of plastic bullshit.

As for the entrepreneur, they would still handle the cost of material, production workers, shipping etc but the idea is once they take all the orders and send everything out, everyone just gets paid and goes home. The factory owner would move on to the next guy.

The cost difference would be reflected in the end product but guaranteed quality products, people would absolutely pay 10x the price for a lifetime product, even if the cheap garbage goes for a couple thousand these days. They would pay so much more for something that lasts.

Old fridges, because they want that so badly. So I have to wonder, how much would a factory owner have to charge in rent and maintenance for these setups, vs what a company might pay in rent to just rent an empty warehouse that they convert into a production line.

People like myself would pay a higher premium for a limited product that is guaranteed to last a lifetime, vs mass produced cheap garbage that gets broken and tossed yearly. In fact people may pay /exponentially/ more for a product like that. People dedicate years of their lives learning to restore

What parts of a donut production line could be repurposed into a line that builds lawnmowers. Would it be economical for one business to own the factory, and swappable production equipment, that they then rent to a rich person with an idea for a quality product to produce a set number of product.

I've worked in enough warehouses to know that production lines are often simply-complex, what the machine does is simple, but the maintenance and whatnot is complex. It's also very niche and customized to what kind of product is being made. What I don't know is how recyclable production equipment is

All I can think is, ISNT THAT WHAT WE WANT? I feel like if somebody has an idea for a quality, long lasting, product, they should be able to rent a factory, sell a million of them (literally billions of people on this damn planet these days) and then just close up shop and rent to the next guy.

Well that sucks. Other games don't have any issues doing gift codes despite having steam as a storefront. I don't think it should really make a difference for in game gift codes, but I truly don't know what is required on the back end. I hope you support your game in the future despite storefronts.

Not on Google though. Before the AI takeover of search, Google would just stop showing new results after 3-4 pages and just show you duplicate results every page after that. They don't want you to access most of the Internet. It's been that way for years
