My mom has had the smaller one for more than a year and she's had no problems so far, but she didn't care about the duplex that you both mentioned, the only negative is the app occasionally bugs her to subscribe to mail delivered toner but I think all printers do that now

Hopefully they fix that shit for the last time! Sounds like the last tech you spoke to knew what to fix.

My favorite remake was Police Quest, it didn't change the story but it elevated it and made it easier to enjoy without all the deaths and soft locks of the original, and things like crime scenes were harder to depict in small pixels

My nostalgia is strong for the EGA version so take this from a heavy subjective opinion, but I felt that the combat was the weakest point of the remake, they attached stamina to survival instead of just making like you're bleeding, so the start of the game is way harder, everything else was fine

It seems like an overreaction to cancel a whole project because some third party service you paid to do the poster may have been inspired by AI art even after admitting none of this is in the game - but what do I know about industry politics 😂 bsky.app/profile/ign....

I'm not surprised since it's optimized for handheld first, people could just go with bazzite or CachyOS and again a lot more performance, but I understand the appeal of SteamOS since it's (relatively) easier and familiar

Evil billionaires figured out that they don't even need to hide their intentions, they just need to offer something fun and/or addicting with it, and people will gladly just give up their rights to save 50 cents on a package of balloons, get a free game, save 2 minutes on homework, etc

You deserve some you time and enjoying life, you've worked hard enough for the equivalent of many careers, I'm sure money is one reason why you need to get back to work but otherwise take the time you need ❤️

Well for example a recent Cachy update (don't know if it's system, Arch or the Xbox driver) broke the Bluetooth for Xbox controllers and the only fix was to update the firmware which was a few years old but that was the recommended solution, and it fixed the problem, ah well can't have everything 😂

Could you recommend a controller for Linux? My Xbox controller works fine except once in a while I have to plug it into a Windows machine to update it and I want to avoid that for my next controller

It might not be this but in case it is: my ISP and their tech blamed my computer for almost a year of problems, when I finally bought my own modem router to use instead of theirs it fixed all my problems, thought I'd mention in case it could be something you could try
