DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

Just spent 4 days learning with other literacy leaders and celebrating students’ right to read.

Then I started to read the news.

Sigh. I think I’ll go back to my book for the rest of the day.

It’s inherently evil to tell people their book doesn’t belong. That’s what banning is.

Don’t take away a book from a family who might need it. #ncte25

Remember, censorship takes many forms. Publishers slow rolling books that push back against those in power is certainly one form. It's more insidious than books disappearing from library shelves because the book never exists in the first place.
And yes, I wrote a full book about Jamal Khashoggi and his murder. Delivered edits, everything.

Until my editors at Harper Collins completely disappeared and stopped work on my manuscript, forcing me to pull it.
