I believe I finished the first dog's head for the commission. Yay! Now onto their pj's, which should be fun. I can't wait to show it to you all!

So I'll talk about the books I'm reading. As I said, I am finally reading Democracy Awakening by Heather Cox Richardson. It makes my blood boil reading about rich people in history that feel no need to help society as a whole. But one thing I love about Heather is how hopeful she makes me feel.

Happy Friday! I can't wait to put in some hours on the commission this weekend. I've made a very solid start. I wish I could show you. While I highly doubt the person that will be getting the drawing follows me, I don't want to take the chance of ruining a surprise.

It's -12° here this morning! It seems like winter just started a couple weeks ago and we're getting socked. We better have a white Christmas after all of this!

I woke up thinking it was Friday. But it's my last day of work this week, so it kind of is. I also woke up with a headache. So I didn't work on this as much as I should have. It is what it is! I am still loving how this is coming along.

My hat and scarf goal count has been reset. I had a bunch of scarves I tried to sell years ago that were just hanging out in my storage. I decided to donate them now as well as the hats and scarves I've already completed. Hopefully someone can find some use with them!
