If you break a bunch of laws there should just be a mechanism where you immediately no longer are president anymore vs just making sure Congress is stacked in your favor enough for you to keep ignoring laws.

For example, if they scapegoated the trans community for their loss (as just one of many potential examples), I would know to keep dumping all their requests for donations in the trash except for the few that I feel are worth donating to.

I wasn't interested in the report to see if they would put in the "real" reasons for loss. I was interested in seeing what they feel like would be popular to state as the reasons for their loss, because it is an indicator of how they plan to lead.

The Dems have lost a lot of my trust over the years that they can show strong leadership and that they can course correct quickly during a critical time. Why should I blindly give them money if they can't re-establish that trust? I am much pickier with candidates now.

I disagree. For years I aggressively donated to them and I have been increasingly less enthusiastic, because it feels like all of it has been squandered. Seeing this report would provide transparency that they are hopefully learning from their mistakes.
