Something something problems solutions.
It’s bad enough when my onboarders move files they aren’t supposed to. At least they have the excuse of “oh oops I’m new”. But when people who have been here longer than me “accidentally” move the wrong file when they tried to copy it? Eh. I’ve seen your inbox.

Oh good we’re recommending people use AI tools for self learning instead of ASKING FUCKNG HUMANS BEINGS

I hate this shit.

Ngl I kinda hate the trainings we have to go thru that are like “see this assumption that got made and how it was bad?” Except … you’re literally assuming that was an assumption. So. You’re being really contradictory here.

Never let a single goddamned person on the Right ever claim again that they’re the party of law and order without laughing in their lying face.
So Capitol Police officers were assaulted and injured on Jan 6th, the White House today is blaming them for the violence, and the people who attacked them have been pardoned and are back to mock and abuse them on the 5th anniversary.

And the GOP is the party of the police? Really? REALLY??
White House's newly-posted "timeline" of Jan 6 blames Capitol Police for Jan 6, which included an attack on ..... Capitol Police

Look, this person doesn't understand what process is and how keeping it writer-based supports style and narrative, period. Thus, several things she suggests harmless if AI-driven are actually harmful. Also, the fallacy that AI is inevitable belies evidence of a bubble 1/2 file770.com/erin-underwo...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stated that the 1918 flu pandemic was caused by a lab virus from vaccine research, a defective influenza vaccine. Let’s analyze what a lie this is. First, in 1918, 107 years ago, virology was in its infancy

She’s like “have you been drinking enough water?”

Literally 24 hours later after swapping 1 diet soda per day for water and I housed my dinner and just feel better.

Because i've been asked, my hot take is that wildfire liability discussions in CA that don't lead to full state ownership & control of the electrical corps will saddle the public sector with cleaning up damages the private sector is more than happy to continue to 'externalize'.

Can I just say fuck iOS 26 and this obsession with fading shit in and out. Who tf wants a text convo that fades underneath the goddamn menu bar, making it difficult to see what is clickable and what isn’t?

I saw a post about someone buying appliances and paying extra for the nicer model that’s a smart device so it can send notifications because “they have adhd”.
And look idc I simply refuse to have appliances that talk to the internet.

I want to. I really do. But absolutely NAWT on today’s internet.

This is a legitimate scientific revolution in meteorology.

Also, to be clear, these models are not the AI LLMs that most people are familiar with. They are machine learning algorithms trained on observations (actually reanalysis).
