Substack is not your own land. It's closed. VC funded. Moderation practices are questionable. Dark patterns and many multiple clicks to get through to do a task. And increasingly algorithmic in nature.

Stop shoving AI everywhere 🤨
Last week, Google shoved Gemini almost everywhere for Workspace users. The reactions weren't particularly great, as people complained about it feeling intrusive.

fellow creators: regarding the Honey situation, I think we should email companies and suggest terminating Honey's affiliate accounts.
what Honey did probably goes against most of the affiliate programs, hurting the companies and creators at the same time.
