> a much smarter second line, I never really got to making that deficit up.
So I started over, to MUCH better success. You can see when I built the Red extension to huge revenue boots, and when I built the Green line (with my first bond that I'm now paying off).

After finishing DC, I decided to go just up 95 and take on Baltimore next.
Lesson learned: do NOT start your system with a loop line, *especially* in a more disperse city. You need to bring people in first before you move them around.

I finished my version of the ultimate DC Metro system on Friday. Eight spoke lines, four and a half loop lines, and the loops/spokes work together to create a real grid in the central part of DC itself.

Pretty darn close to a record time for me for a 300pc puzzle! And if I had been just a minute faster, I would have placed... Maybe next time!

Working on my biggest puzzle yet! Took a full hour just to get this much sorting done. I'll worry about the busiest and plainest pieces once I get these other more identifiable sections done.

35'08" into my next puzzle. This was one of the three semifinal puzzles at #WJPF earlier this year; the semifinal winner had already finished by nearly a minute at this point 🤣
