The rugby team I played on in college was the Mad Dogs so we naturally drank, uh, a lot of mad dog. Any way you can drink, we did it with mad dog.

There was an Italian bakery in the grocers building in ~2001-4. A guy I played rugby with at Buff St insisted that we go buy cannoli every time we were down the street at Frontier picking up kegs and Mad Dog before the mandatory La Nova stop.

Exactly, the only way you get an appetite is Pegula hitting the bully pulpit (lol) and throwing real money around (double lol). Competing municipalities certainly doesn't help and there is a less than zero chance you get any help from DC.

I was a Fairport kid so we gravitated to the suburban spots, and the Perinton plates just weren't very good.

Priority through the yards is a huge sticking point, one would hope that <20 events a year at the stadium opens the door to limited use agreements. Years ago someone figured there was enough excess ROW space you could lease the land and build dedicated track outside of the yards

The big issues are CSX/Norfolk buy-in, physical cars, and interchange with the NFTA system. All of which are the types of problems that get solved by throwing money at them and Terry just isn't interested in that.

the NFTA's priority should absolutely be the expansion north. the thing that galls me is that a billionaire could absolutely fund/apply pressure to make it happen. The tracks/right of ways already exist and can get you from downtown to California/Southwestern

when i used to live off hertel it pained me to drive to bailey cause my wife loves bocce club and B&J's was RIGHT THERE, now bocce club is closer to my house and i live in a pizza hell of my own creation
