I have been listening to them for, well, more than a decade, and I still re-listen their albums a lot. But the newest album (Cracker Island) was utterly boring for me and lacking that unique touch they had. It's blend. I only like "New Gold", while I liked most of the songs on other albums.

Yet I like your painting! I see that you put a lot into art even back then, and that shows.

I believe it's about laziness on their part; it is an escape from true commitment, an excuse they can comfort not you, but themselves.
