Beaten again! I can see this becoming an annual playthrough. It’s just a 20 minute romp of pure, distilled Castlevania goodness, with great graphics, an amazing soundtrack, and an absolutely bonkers final boss. Sure wish this team would make a new full-sized game!

Kirby Triple Deluxe
I’ll have to reevaluate my series ranking, because this game was pretty gosh dang good. Not quite Robobot or Forgotten Land level, but still way better than I expected. Hypernova was always fun, plus there’s great abilities like Beetle and Bell. I even beat Dedede mode!

Kirby Triple Deluxe
I’ll have to reevaluate my series ranking, because this game was pretty gosh dang good. Not quite Robobot or Forgotten Land level, but still way better than I expected. Hypernova was always fun, plus there’s great abilities like Beetle and Bell. I even beat Dedede mode!

I first marathoned the whole game in 2008 within its Blockbuster rental period. It was the perfect game at the perfect time, unlike anything I’d ever played.
17 years later and it’s no longer as fresh and exciting. It was good, but failed to recapture that same feeling.
