I have never seen or played the first edition so I can't really compare. But given the number of components and subsystems, it is very easy to set up, teach, play and squeeze back into the box. There is even a picture of how to stack the inserts in the box.

It's only half the size of say Gloomhaven and plays in a couple of hours ;)

Not sure what points you want to highlight but my two latest games are free and I'm happy with their tight and minimalistic design.

Train companies are national (and political) and have little incentive to grow an international business. If you can fill trains and tracks with intercity travellers, why bother catering for international travellers? It takes money and regulation to fix.

The money side of it is the least interesting. What worries me more is the segregation and the long term consequences for Swedish society to have these self selected subcultures.

Even if we don't succeed in using MOFs to scale and industrialise carbon capture, just having a device that extracts pure water from the air without consuming fuel or electricity... imagine how it will improve living conditions worldwide.
