it's v good, im a bit wary on how sweeping and definite some of the statements are while saying things people want to hear, but it has sources in those bits so ill have to go back and check those out

also if any of that translates to learning a second language
i feel like balanced/msv is kind of how duolingo and many second language teachers teach? as opposed to dedicating a significant amount of time to phonics, even if many other languages might not need it as much (i think?)

im really really interested now to see if there is any correlation between literacy/reading proficiency and language, like if on average speakers of X are better readers in their language than Y because their language is more "phonetic" (ES, JP) than another (EN) or vice versa

to be clear, i mean i feel the "wow these people are incredibly racist and don't realize it/will get pissed if you point it out" part not the "i even let ppl from x latam country be in the same room as me" part

also it might let me use old ~2010 cards, though i definitely need more of those
