*nix, Windows, Mac - which is your favourite take?

Like, ahem BSD (we care about Case) launches a DNS (we don't care about case) - seems like an ongoing thing.

In your world, for ERO, does case matter? Stanford SERF doesn't care, but it's best practices normalize to lowercase

not about this particular post --
very stoked to see your blog in nuxt (with bluesky comments). I love the dogfooding, and am going to see how you did the bsky integration and copy that, if that's ok.

Same, although we're headed across the street to our neighbours place.

I'm pretty sure you know the biggest difference in hospital care; if you have any insurance plan, they'll negotiate that $3 bandage down to $0.05, if you're uninsured there's no one to push back on the fees charged.

Having worked on Medicaid/Medicare I can say it has much broader coverage than we have in Canada.

Strangely the best ACA implementation is Kentucky. They love KCare, but vote real hard to get rid of ObamaCare. Some pretty astonished looks once you get them to understand KCare == ACA == ObamaCare

Maybe even a capped plan of 2k/yr, that's like $78 B, using a 3% admin is like $2B.
That's less than some states have given to management consulting firms to prop up their medicare expansion (usually a failure). So you'd be way ahead of the curve.
Sprinkle any used amounts into next years caps.

That's by design, they are not allowed to use their bulk purchase power

Not many do a big bang approach. England did, but they did so after the war, so big unity changes were possible.

They may help swing things, but you have a masive amount of people that actively vote against having that.

We did too here in Canada, until 1 province brought it in. It was supposed to be a disaster, but as it turned out to be ok, the rest joined in.

Such a change to so fully embrace socialism.

If he'd have said it should be for everyone in Canada on day one, we'd still be talking about getting started.
