Intranets, user experience, and connected content. Mad for movies, the perfect 3-minute pop song, non-sequiturs and general silliness.

Also never gonna run around in dessert shoes.

I can’t remember the circumstances of when I found my Double Decker had frozen, but that was a good day

Conversely, I have other worries about Perplexity (or whoever) accessing my Amazon account and using its data for purposes that are hidden from me

I've watched Comet buzz around a website trying to build a sub-£500 PC - it was impressive, if wasteful and chaotic.

In my mind, this is Amazon taking another step to being anti-consumer (having tuned their interface against users) – shouldn't I have the right to access their website as I choose?

Slight hmmm to that. I remember Brown chatting about football and such on 5Live years ago and I didn’t recognise him in this relaxed and informed persona against the awkward and cliche-bound politician I was so familiar with.

I remain saddened that circumstances didn’t give us that person as PM.

Downside: cruise ships have mortuaries because of the inevitable

Upside: some probably have their own moustached Belgian detective

Alt text for the frame in question:

A stick person wearing a t-shirt and holding a notebook: Okay, cool, and I'm assuming you currently have no content you can share for this? A slightly wider stick person wearing a tie: Nope, none whatsoever.

Honestly, I leave lots of space for my characters to think and talk about what's going on in their lives.

People (including fictional people) will always identify patterns in their own experience, even if those patterns can be a mite imaginary.

I let my characters tell me what patterns they're in.
