Calling people “parasites” is Nazi language. It dehumanizes to justify violence. And if you follow the logic, it backfires: America’s early wealth came from land seizure, slavery, and extraction. By that standard, America was built by first-world parasites.

When the U.S. invoked NATO’s Article 5 after 9/11, allies did show up. Denmark lost 44 soldiers in Afghanistan. Relative to its population, that sacrifice was roughly equal to, and in combat deaths slightly higher than, that of the United States.
