“Freedom is not a gift received from the state or leader, but a possession to be won every day by the effort of each and the union of all.”

-Albert Camus
This is exactly how we have to start taking; and we have to start talking like this right now.
This is the way.
Stephen Miller, Tom Homan, Kristi Noem and a whole lot of ICE/DHS types is will discover a Strange New Respect for habeas corpus and the rule of law when the 2029 Truth and Reconciliation Commission arrests them for human trafficking, conspiracy, kidnapping, and child abuse.

A Milwaukee judge has been arrested this morning allegedly because she “tried to help an undocumented immigrant avoid arrest after he appeared in her courtroom last week.”

There’s not a lot of info on this yet so stay tuned for more as it is released.

I’m a college professor, and although it’s easy to mock and ridicule this fool, to hear the President say that Harvard is a threat to democracy is chilling. This will invariable lead to a much bigger social movement against academia. It must not be allowed to succeed.

Irony: those who fly the Gadsden "Don't Tread on Me” flag, a symbol of resistance against oppression, are the same who support the greatest governmental power grab in our history. What they call freedom is actually privilege. Their closed minded views can’t understand what freedom really is.

So…..isn’t this the very situation all of these 2nd amendment “patriots” were waiting for? Isn’t this the tyranny they were warning us about and planning to defend us against? I mean, I’m just asking questions here…

The President of Lithuania showed our fallen troops more respect than the President of the United States.

How sad, what we have become.
April 5, 2025 at 3:47 AM
So everyone’s 401K is in the shitter, the price of literally everything is going to go up, and the President of the United States blew off 4 dead soldiers and their families to attend a fucking golf tournament. And that’s just this past week.

But hey, the Gulf of America, right?

He’s wants countries to buy their way out of the tariffs. Not to us, to him. He’s going to personally gain from this. We’ll never know how more than likely, and it more than likely will be more than he who gains from this, but make no mistake, he’s profiting off of this.
Trump surrogates send conflicting messages after the tariffs announcement.

Eric Trump: "The first to negotiate will win — the last will absolutely lose."

WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt: “The president made it clear yesterday this is not a negotiation — this is a national emergency."

So, uh, anyone happen to be paying attention to Beto? He’s out there crushing it at town halls and from I’m seeing he’s not getting much coverage. That really should change because he’s seriously telling it like it is.

I’m old enough to remember when Secretary Hegseth tried to publicly mock Judge Reyes—suggesting that she didn’t know what she was doing when it comes to protecting our national security.

It was … two days ago.

34,000 people. On a weekday. In March. In Colorado.

Calling Social Security a Ponzi scheme, making it difficult for people to register, and potentially cutting services is frightening, insulting, and damaging to millions of Americans. This may be what tips things to get us out in the streets. Maybe?? We’ll see I suppose.

This is why Schumer cannot continue as leader. This is utterly irresponsible coming from someone in a leadership position during the hostile takeover of our democracy. This is ridiculous.

Where are our former Presidents?
What are they waiting for?
What exactly are we doing?

How incredibly sad it is to watch our former and current leaders watch us all go down, knowing we are essentially helpless without them.

Unforgivable.
The American tradition of former presidents just melting away into the set dressing once their done is a hindrance right now
