Given what we know about the Gree and how they tend to lose track of what their technology does (they'd forgotten where the Hypergate in TFB goes!), it makes perfect sense to me that they might have no idea what data is actually stored in that box and why it was locked in there in the first place.

I'm trying to ease off of imports these days, but I agree seeing these figures in the style of the show is pretty cool and makes them distinct enough from the Black Series versions to be very tempting.
