Doug Ford dumping a bottle of whisky is theatre and won't refill the jobs he's helped drive out of Ontario. My latest op-ed argues that real leadership means making the province competitive again, not posting political stunts. #CDNpoli #ONpoli
ADAMS: Doug Ford's Whiskey Theatre Won't Hide Ontario's Jobs Crisis
A bottle-smashing publicity stunt won't bring back the hundreds of jobs lost under Ford’s watch — nor the competitiveness Ontario has bled since his first majority.

Every manufacturer is seeing it loud and clear: cross Doug Ford, and you'll be his next political punching bag. While real Ontario businesses suffer, Ford shovels your tax dollars to foreign conglomerates and insiders.

Full op-ed drops tomorrow.

The Provincial Times published this editorial responding to Dominic Cardy's claims that “War is inevitable,” and why that framing is dangerous for Canada 🇨🇦

Proud to have donated non-perishable food to Food Banks Canada. At Christmas especially, we must look after those who are struggling while politicians look the other way. Communities are strongest when we look out for one another, especially when times are hardest 🎄

Just published: my take on the 2026 New Democratic Party leadership “debate,” a bilingual farce masquerading as renewal. If a national party can't even respect our two official languages or confront its own failures, it deserves serious reckoning, not quiet rebranding. #NDPLeadership2026 #CDNpoli 🇨🇦

Direct democracy is built on three tools that give people a hands-on role in governing:

✅ Referendum – approve or reject laws.
✅ Recall – remove elected officials.
✅ Initiative – propose new laws.

Direct democracy is not a fringe idea. It is the natural evolution of a healthy, stable democracy.

Hi! I launched a GoFundMe to get to Calgary and cover the 2026 CPC Convention. No bailouts, no corporate backing, just independent reporting funded by the people. If you want real coverage, not scripted talking points, I'd love your support.

A student wrote a substandard essay where the core argument made was "God wants x y z," but at no point does she actually cite the bible. Her professor is being punished for marking badly written work accordingly.

OU just suspended a professor for failing a student who turned in a sermon instead of an essay, then ran to the right-wing establishment media, crying ‘discrimination.’ The admin folded instantly. This is how universities rot from the inside out. Total embarrassment.

Yesterday I launched a GoFundMe to cover the costs of getting me to #CPC26. If I can make it to Calgary, I'll bring real, on-the-ground coverage you won't get anywhere else. Every bit of support helps keep independent journalism alive. 🙏

Just read the detailed Bowmanville Hospital expansion release. Yes, it adds space, but it sidesteps the real crisis: staffing, mental health, primary care, and modern equipment. Our community deserves more than photo-ops. I'm working on a full op-ed for tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Mark Carney's MOU with Alberta is nothing but Ottawa bending the knee. Climate goals quietly delayed, carbon capture scams propped up, and Alberta left holding the bag. Danielle Smith talks tough, but Carney just proved she's all theatre, and Albertans are paying the price. ⬇️
ADAMS: Pipeline to Nowhere: Carney's Political Theatre Leaves Albertans Holding the Bag
The MOU builds confusion, delays climate action, and hands Danielle Smith the political theatre she thrives on while Albertans pay the price.

Jamil received the publicly funded cancer care that every Canadian deserves. Yet he refuses to call out fellow Conservatives for the privatization that puts that care out of reach for others. Using his story for partisan points while his allies erode universal health care is shameful.

Jamil Jivani's record speaks for itself: calls to abolish social programs, targeting trans youth, attacking DEI, and wanting to axe the TFW program overnight. This isn't “Canada First,” it's complete lunacy.

Bowmanville—Oshawa North deserves better than fringe, PPC-style politics.

When asked about the 150 Canadians held in ICE concentration camps, NDP leadership hopeful Yves Engler actually gave a straight answer. He laid out how Canada should hold Washington's feet to the fire, starting with demanding our people be released.
