As a Chiefs fan, I experienced 50 years of suck between Super Bowls. I’ll take nine straight AFC West Division Championships and three NFL rings under Andy Reid and Mahomes any day and twice on Sunday. We had a good run. Get ‘em next year. Go Royals!

The principle of brainwashing folks is well known. Too many examples to cite (Patty Hurst, Stockholm, military training, talk radio), but it isn’t hard to do if you have time and reinforce the message.
