Immensely cute characters and fun exploration of paint mechanics through a zelda-like world! Only combat is from bosses, but what bosses! Switch v has lower-res paint, note.
46. Toree Saturn by @siactro.bsky.social. If you've played Toree games before, this is right at home. There's an anti-hero, and the game has dash-stars which give a Sonic Adventure vibe. Soundtrack is great with a surprise guest track. Ship Combat stage was not fun thanks to camera. Good overall tho

46. Toree Saturn by @siactro.bsky.social. If you've played Toree games before, this is right at home. There's an anti-hero, and the game has dash-stars which give a Sonic Adventure vibe. Soundtrack is great with a surprise guest track. Ship Combat stage was not fun thanks to camera. Good overall tho
45. Donkey Kong Bananza from Nintendo. HOO HEE! DK and Pauline are a great duo. I was concerned of getting tired of punching everything, but the locations and hidden areas kept it fresh all the way! Bananza forms were great, and the content is BEEFY. Music is a super bop. This is a big star game.

45. Donkey Kong Bananza from Nintendo. HOO HEE! DK and Pauline are a great duo. I was concerned of getting tired of punching everything, but the locations and hidden areas kept it fresh all the way! Bananza forms were great, and the content is BEEFY. Music is a super bop. This is a big star game.
44. Thunder Kid: Hunt for the Robot Emperor by @renegadesector.bsky.social. A short and simple shooter platformer game that makes neat use of pixel graphics but in textures and 3D models. Straightforward (literally) in execution; a couple bosses were less friendly but otherwise frictionless.

43. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia from the Dominus Collection. Great animation and artwork, and I eventually got into the Glyph system as I progressed. 40. Mario Kart World by...you know! I appreciated the attempt to connect all the tracks. The open map needed more tracking (update fixed) and I would have liked more biomes in the world. Actual challenges/bosses, special races, cups. Maybe a retro cup style too. Hard to follow MK8D tbh.

40. Mario Kart World by...you know! I appreciated the attempt to connect all the tracks. The open map needed more tracking (update fixed) and I would have liked more biomes in the world. Actual challenges/bosses, special races, cups. Maybe a retro cup style too. Hard to follow MK8D tbh.
