Hi Scott. About the tornado in Öls/Oleśnica in 1535, I have a written account at home. Need to find it. I remember it was written that people were lifted, parts of the town walls collapsed + upper floors of houses were demolished. Basically a strong impact. Cheers, Thilo

In terms of winter cold-front storms I'd say Kyrill 2007 had also several strong tornadoes, but not such a high number in total (we will investigate more about it). With older winter events, only little is known.

Believe it or not, there was also a second tornado reported from Belarus (also filmed). But it's a pity that we don't have damage information yet. Let's see...
