It is appalling how people will say "we don't want politics!" responding to fairly basic info or statements about current events in group chats with frequently wandering topics, presumably because it might upset the fragile snowflakes who are still somehow ok with what this administration is doing.

leaving Twitter *does* make an impact. Even in better times that site's power users made up a tiny fraction. w/ each exodus, esp creatives leaving, the nazi bot slop becomes harder to avoid until its all thats left. its vital role in culture has eroded past a point of no return BECAUSE we're leaving
