We were safe after Ipswich in February. That took us to 33 points and 12th. Leicester finished 18th on 25 points. We only won 2 more games in the league after Ipswich (5 in Europe). Had we been in real danger, priorities would obviously have changed. All that to say, I agree.

I’ve seen comments about being happy about not bothering with a Mickey Mouse cup etc. We win and it’s Fulham at home in the QF, 4 games from another trophy. I’m fine with the team selection and for the most part performance, but still annoyed that we’re out.

I still don’t understand to be honest. And kind of glad I don’t.
