So 2.4% is supposed to support the advancement of the whole worlds green energy tech....

From reading leading climate science reports and research....

Where does the rest of the world get it then....

On top of this climate with an uptick in "carbon" to which isn't a problem on its own... Would prove humanity killing for at least another 500 years...
Do you honestly think we won't solve it by then with the tech we xan currently build?

I don't think you understand how the world works....
The only way things get better/innovation happens is through competition, Canada can be as powerful as China with our resources with the ability to shape global climate changes.

How do you think green tech is built? With resources...

Are you serious? We have so much more Oil... Fourth? We could be first and actually take the market away from Saudi Arabia. Make our country a powerhouse like China.

As for other resources, Canada sits on so much natural ores needed in all green tech. And we aren't allowed to touch it...

You can't get to a greener future without getting dirtier and getting the resources to make a greener future....
Do you think the tech just magically appears?
We have the resources to make it for the world and actually do something to stop using fossil fuels but we refuse to.

Or we can suffer even more as a country because we refuse to touch our resources to speed up not only the transition to a greener country but also richer because the rest of the world needs it too...
December 30, 2025 at 10:27 PM
We have years to capitalize on the industry, do it properly, and position ourselves to build like China with our own resources
December 30, 2025 at 10:10 PM
That's a very ambitious target when you take into account current problems in transportation in the Western world.
China is one thing but the world is in no way ready to switch to the point of decline in the next 5 years. If anything the planetary plateau won't be starting for at least another 10.
