This is a mobile rig. Sq5 into RME Dante. Very simple. Should be bulletproof. Worked last week. DC app finds no devices today.
I think a permanent install could be stabilized... but ive also seen online content showing commercially installed house rigs fail midshow.

The other thing about it... this is also very software culture: bc the chips are made by Audinate and protected ip. The makers must buy the chips and licensing, but aren't in control of the parts.

Only a Mac diehard would be in this situation.... and instead of closing the tabs, they visit Apple Genius who convinced them to buy a new device.

Am i an expert at soldering? Idk. But I did solder 1200 points of DB25 for one project and have built a few synthesizer kits. 🤓
Weller or Hako are the ONLY correct answers. Id say buy this one with a variety of tips, Kester solder, flux, and tip cleaning wire. Good tools make it easy.
