Since I worked a night shift last night for the first time in a very long time, I figured that I’d go back to doing what I used to do when I worked nights. So tonight I’m driving around on GTA V with a Long Distance Driver from Foam Brewers.

Another local brewery shutting down. Breweries like restaurants are a temporary endeavor. Flying Dreams was one I didn’t make it to often, but I remember when they opened and going through as many of their beers I could find. Wish them luck in whatever adventure they find next.

Day 8 of 24 days of @treehousebrewco.bsky.social. Enduring Belief. A rye lager. I really enjoy rye beers. This one again uses grains from Thrall Family malt in Connecticut. It uses Adeena hops, which I don’t see very often. Great beer.

Concert 17 of 2025. Squeezing in the last couple of shows of the year. Bela Fleck & The Flecktones. It’s been about 20 years since I’ve seen these guys, so I was looking forward to this one. They did not disappoint.

Day 2 of the 24 days of @treehousebrewing.bsky.social. Queen of the Tetons Cream ale with Huckleberry. After a 12 and a half hour day, driving home in a snowstorm, and then snow blowing the driveway for an hour, this one is quite refreshing.

I prepped, cooked, served dinner. I put away leftovers and had everything cleaned by 5:00 yesterday. Today I organized the basement, moved around the living room, vacuumed, and put up the tree. Next I’m making pasta and meatballs with garlic bread and salad. Have I earned a beer yet?

Went to New Hampshire to check out my 16th brewery in the Granite State. Kelsen Brewing. We went for the Thanksgiving Poutine. Was incredible. Great range of beers. Was well worth the trip.
